The colorful opening ceremony of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has begun and the ceremony began with the national anthem.
The opening ceremony of the Pakistan Super League was held in Turkey this time and this year the event is being recorded and broadcast, instead of being broadcast live.
The ceremony began with the national anthem of Pakistan, after which Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani addressed the gathering and thanked the participating teams, officials, staff, and all stakeholders.

National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has allowed a limited number of spectators to enter the stadium in the Pakistan Super League 2021 due to global epidemic coronavirus.
He said that this year PSL matches are being played in Karachi and Lahore and due to the Corona virus only 7,500 spectators will be able to come to the field in Karachi and 5,000 in Lahore.

Giving good news to the people, Ehsan Mani said that if the situation improves, more people will be allowed to bring stadiums.
“Without the help of the government of Pakistan, the government of Sindh, and the government of Punjab, it would have been impossible to play all the PSL matches in Karachi under these circumstances,” he said.

The Chairman PCB also thanked the foreign and international players who participated in the event and said that we welcome you to Pakistan and hope that you will bring back the pleasant memories of your stay here. We look forward to welcoming you again next year.
He also thanked all the franchises for partnering with the board to promote the game in the country and wished all the six teams participating in the event well
It is noted that this ceremony was not held directly but recorded on any day of last week.
After the opening ceremony, the first match of the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League has been started between defending champions Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators.
Talking to the media, Wasim Khan had said that some moments of the opening ceremony have also been recorded in Quetta.
Regarding the recording of the opening ceremony in Turkey, Wasim Khan said that we wanted the best quality of the ceremony to be shown on TV because people also raised the issue that the quality of the video was not good in past events.
Wasim Khan said that at present there were no technicians of this quality in Pakistan so the recording was being done abroad. We are trying to show people the best quality products.
