Another honor for Pakistan. Nayab Ali, a well-known eunuch from Pakistan’s eunuch community, won the International Award. Pakistan Won Hero Asia Awards 2020.
The international organization Hero Asia Award was given to Nayab Ali for his services to Pakistan’s eunuch community. The awards ceremony was held in Bangkok, Thailand.

It is a matter of pride and honor for Pakistan that Nayab Ali was selected from among 250 transgender people nominated from all Asian countries, including India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Bhutan.

In view of the recent Corona epidemic, Nayab could not go to Bangkok to attend the event. The international organization broadcast a video message of Nayab Ali at the event.
Nayab Ali said that Pakistan has won an important award in Asia.
Nayab Ali added that she was tortured for working for her community, which made her very insecure and very upset, but on such an occasion the award gave her new courage and enthusiasm. She will now work harder for her community to make her community safer.
